Thank you for choosing Squeezy: Video Compressor Pro ("Squeezy", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency.
Our core philosophy is simple: Your videos belong to you. We are a "Local-First" application. We do not collect, upload, or view any of your personal photos or videos.
To provide you with maximum privacy, Squeezy does not offer, require, or support user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifiers to use the core features of the app. Because there are no accounts, there is no personal profile data to delete.
No Media Uploads: We DO NOT transmit or store any of your videos, photos, or metadata (such as EXIF data or GPS location) on our servers or any third-party servers. All video compression, resizing, and processing are performed strictly on your device's local hardware (Apple Neural Engine / GPU).
No Behavioral Tracking: We do not track your activity across other apps or websites. We do not build advertising profiles about you.
No Server-Side Logs: We do not operate a backend that logs your usage, your IP address, or your activity.
To function correctly, Squeezy utilizes specific iOS system APIs under Apple's strict privacy guidelines.
Squeezy requests access to your Apple Photo Library. Depending on your iOS settings, you may grant us:
This permission is strictly used locally to allow you to select videos for compression, save the newly compressed videos, and (only upon your explicit system-level confirmation) delete the original large files to free up space. We never transfer your media off your device.
